There are chapters in our story we’d rather skip.
Divorce.
Cancer.
Parenting through pain.
Wounds from our past—some we didn’t ask for, and some we caused.
Seasons we survived but barely speak of.
Make It Worth It, Lord
And yet…
God wants to use every single part of it.
I’ve asked Him so many times:
“Lord, will You make it worth it? Will You make the pain count for something?”
And I believe with all my heart—He will.
“We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. ”
Romans 8:28 CSB
Romans 8:28 tells us that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him.
Not just the pretty parts. Not just the victories.
But the valleys, too.
He is the God who redeems the mess.
So I want to ask you today:
What do you want God to do with your pain?
What would make it worth feeling?
Would you love to see your story help someone else feel less alone?
Would you love to be a light for someone still sitting in the dark?
Would you love to hear someone say, “Because of you, I didn’t give up”?
Friend, there’s purpose in your pain.
Don’t hide your story. Offer it up.
Surrender it to the One who wastes nothing.
You are an instrument of His glory.
He will make it worth it.
