What chore do you dread? Doesn’t the sound of the word chore just bring up dread? Is there something that you constantly put off doing because it takes too much time or is hard?  I get it, especially if it’s not fun! Read on and use this technique to help avoid procrastination, get that dreaded chore done, and move on with life.

Have you read the blog post I created on the Eat That Frog concept a while back? It is all about getting that dreaded thing out of the way first! Here’s the link to that blog post. I won’t go into detail here because that’s not really what this post is about. It’s how good I felt after I ate that frog.

I made them, I made the traditional Christmas t-shirts for my grands today! They are done! Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy the T-shirts and what they represent, they take a lot of work. Now that they are done, though, it is a good feeling of accomplishment and now I can get on with all the other things I want to work on as I prepare for Christmas.

Have you ever experienced that wonderful feeling of getting something done? I am obsessed with productivity. It’s not like I “have” to be doing something, but at the end of the day, I like to feel productive, like I accomplished something. Especially in this season of life, the retirement years, where fall into becoming complacent.

Well, that’s a wrap! I am so pleased I just decided to eat that frog today! Now on to the next project! Grab that book and read how you can avoid procrastination.
