Are you ready to learn how to avoid procrastination? Are you a procrastinator? Imagine that you had to eat a frog every day. If you are like me, it would be something you dread. Would you want that hanging over your head all day long? If you HAD to, you would want to get it out of the way. I think about a colonoscopy, and although I have never had one, I would want to get it done first thing in the morning! Otherwise, I would have anxiety about it all day long.
pro·cras·ti·na·tion/prəˌkrastəˈnāSH(ə)n/nounnoun: procrastination; plural noun: procrastinations 1. the action of delaying or postponing something. “your first tip is to avoid procrastination”
The Eat That Frog Concept
Another frog project for me is walking Cooper. He is a Goldendoodle and has high energy, so I need to make sure he gets a good walk daily. I like to get it done first thing in the morning, so it’s done. That way I am not thinking about it all day in the event something comes up and I am not able to get him on his walk.
Are you willing to avoid that procrastination by eating that frog? Can you think of a project you dread? What is your frog project? Trust me, when you put it at the top of your list and get it done, you will feel that rush of accomplishment. At least I hope so!
