There’s something so comforting about walking a path you know well.
This morning, I was back home—walking my usual route, with prayers on my lips and the Word of God anchoring my soul.
As I walked, I read a Facebook post from a relative. She shared that her son might have cancer.
And her words pierced my heart:
“Satan is knocking on my door.”
I understood those words deeply.
When we receive news like that, fear rushes in.
The unknowns scream loud. The what ifs swirl in our minds.
And that’s exactly where the enemy wants us—frozen in fear, distracted from our faith.
But friend, this is where we draw the line.
This is where we say:
“No. Not today.”
Because yes, Satan may knock…
But Jesus owns the house.
Our Response to Fear
God’s Word reminds us who He is—
Our strength.
Our peace.
Our healer.
We’re not called to ignore fear—we’re called to face it with faith.
And I’ve walked this road before.
My mom. My husband.
And now… my daughter.
Cancer has visited my family too many times. But what I’ve learned is this:
Satan doesn’t get the final say. God does.
The enemy will try to use our weakest moments to whisper lies, stir panic, and pull us away from truth. But we don’t give him that kind of power. He is not the author of life—God is.
We Are Not Without Defense
We have powerful tools, gifted by a loving Father:
- Prayer
- God’s promises
- Peace that surpasses understanding
And if you or someone you love is walking through a diagnosis, I want you to hear this:
- God is still good.
- He is still near.
- And this story is not over.
Our Homes Are Worth Fighting For
I also believe marriages and families are under attack.
The enemy loves to create division—especially in the places where God intends for unity.
But there is hope.
Through confession, repentance, gratitude, and surrender, God can restore what’s been broken.
Let Faith Open the Door
So today, I encourage you:
- Stand firm in the faith.
- Invite others to pray with you.
- Speak truth over fear.
And fix your eyes, not on the mess—but on the Messiah.
Because He is the One who holds it all together.
And friend—He’s the Redeemer of every mess.
