Are you a grandparent? There are few things more gratifying than being a grandparent. You get to watch your children raise their children and you get to be a part of your grandchildren’s lives without all of the responsibility. It’s a truly wonderful thing.
But, as a grandparent, you may not be as tech-savvy as your grandchildren.
That’s where the iPhone comes in. With the iPhone, you can easily keep track of your grandchildren’s sports schedules. Do you have an iPhone? Let me show you how you can keep track of your grandchildren’s sports schedules.
Most of us grandparents have cell phones these days.
They are like little computers that hold much helpful information, like our calendars! We don’t have to carry around those little calendar notebooks anymore. And we don’t have to worry about accidentally writing an event on the wrong date.
Most schools and youth leagues have websites where you can find the team schedules.
At times, you may have to create an account, but it’s as easy as entering your email address and creating a password. You can also usually find the team schedule on the school’s or league’s main page.
Even though I can’t always make it to my grandchildren’s games in person, I love that technology lets me stay up-to-date on what’s going on in their lives.
I can reach out and ask them how their game went, and sometimes I can even watch a live stream of it through Facebook or a sports app. Another benefit of subscribing to their team calendar is that the calendar entry includes the address of where the sporting event is happening. I simply click on the address and it automatically opens up in my Maps app, so I can easily find my way there.
I hope this was helpful to you! Reach out to me if you have any questions!
