Our First Time At Thousand Trails Scotrun Campground

Shawn and I enjoyed our stay at Thousand Trails Scotrun in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania.

The best part is that it is only about 40 minutes from our house. What a sweet getaway for us!

The site we had was flat, although it did take some time to level our trailer. The bath house near us was clean. It needs some updating, but it was clean and that is important to us!

The park is well-maintained. They have a nice pool with some slides, a mini golf course, and Bankshot basketball. They have a very pretty pond, but swimming is not allowed. They warned us that there were snapping turtles in the pond. In fact, Shawn caught one while fishing! Catch and release!

Here we are all the way on top at Mount Pocono. I was impressed by the scenery, however, I wish we could see how high up we were.

This view is only a short drive from the Scotrun campground.

Shawn and I were pleasantly surprised by this gem! I bet it’s beautiful in the fall as all the trees turn colors. Scotrun Resort is convenient to many stores, fast food restaurants, and the beautiful Pocono Mountain scenery.
